Aeronautical tapes - straps

Construction :
- Aeronautical tapes and straps are built up with polyamide 66, polyester, para-aramid or meta-aramid yarns.
- Most of the straps which used to be manufactured with classical looms are now made on needle looms.
- In the chart below, some tapes and straps are listed with AIR (R) references but following some developments, other references were created and it concerns more particularly the references that are now made on needle looms. For any other reference that does not appear in the chart, please send us an anquiry.
- Tapes and straps can also receive different treatments such as anti UV, waterproof, anti fraying, fireproof, etc.
- Please have a look at our K1 data sheet which concerns halyards and braids which are equally used in the Aeronautics.

Applications :
- Parachutes, nets, harnesses, brakes, dropping systems, etc.
